I sold my house on Faira and it was awesome. Everything went smoothly. The pictures were great, they published on MLS and got it to multiple popular sites (Zillow, Redfin, etc), got the For Sale and Open House signs, and referred me to an agent to hold the open house for a small hourly fee.
I got multiple offers, from buyers with and without agents, and in the end I am pretty sure I saved ~5.5% of the price of the house, since offers of buyers coming with an agent were indeed lower.
After the offer, the process was pretty standard, just a bit more personal than having agents talking to agents. We signed docs in person with the buyers and sent to Faira to send to the title company. I texted them a few times in the intervening month, just to make sure everything was going right from their side. Finally we went to the title company and signed the papers. That was it. Not sure why anyone would still want to pay 6% of the transaction value in agent commissions.
